The Charity Golf and Dinner event at Stoke by Nayland was a wonderful success with £16,000 being raised for the charity that we support, Build a School in Gambia. Rain threatened most of the day but it did hold off for the main part with some light showers first thing.
The evening guests were entertained by Ronald Edward “Ron” Harris known by the nickname “Chopper“, a former English footballer who played for Chelsea in the 1960s and 1970s, followed by a comedian. Fun, games, the golf presentation and much banter ensured that the evening was as fun as ever. We would like to thanks those that came and supported the event and the team for another well run event.
Next year’s event will take place on the 18th May 2018.
