case studies
Seager Home Solutions are contracted to provide maintenance services to Havebury Housing Partnership. The work required to satisfy this contract ranges from small maintenance jobs in a single household to multiple installations. This project involved the replacement of approximately 40 kitchens within their sheltered housing scheme.
All of the properties were being lived in and so it was vital that we worked closely with the scheme manager in order to keep the residents fully informed of the project in order to minimise disruption, and to maintain services into each property during the work.
We carefully planned the work so that the delivery of the required materials was as close to the installation time as possible. In addition, we also arranged for the removal of the old kitchens as quickly as possible in order to minimise the impact on residents in communal areas and to allow for the follow on floor laying and decorating work to take place seamlessly following installation.
We are delighted that the project was delivered on time with minimum inconvenience to residents. Both the residents and Havebury Housing Partnership were pleased with the quality of the kitchens installed and with our project management.
